Information for Guests
Thank you for supporting Langston University students by attending the 126th Commencement Ceremony! This ceremony is free to attend, and tickets are not required for this event. There are no restrictions on the number of guests allowed to attend. However, should inclement weather arise, the commencement ceremony will be held in an indoor location with multiple ceremonies. If this should happen it will become a (free) ticketed event, with each student allowed a limited number of guests.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. the day of the ceremony, May 9, 2026. Concessions will be available and will open at 9:00 a.m.
Information for Guests
Please ensure you follow these stadium rules during the graduation ceremony:
ALCOHOL
Alcoholic beverages are neither sold nor permitted on campus and on stadium grounds.
BACKPACKS
Bags larger than 14”x14”x6” are not allowed. Diaper bags and medical bags are permitted. All bags are subject to search.
CAMERAS
For your enjoyment, Langston University permits still cameras without a flash as long as the lens is less than 4 inches in length. Any commercial photography is prohibited without the express consent of Langston University. Video cameras are not permitted in the stadium unless authorized by Langston University.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
To provide a safer environment and significantly expedite fan entry, Langston University Athletics’ clear bag policy limits the size and type of bags that may be brought to Langston University events. Fans are limited to one bag per person with a small clutch bag for privacy.
CONCESSIONS
Concessions are operated by Elior Food Services inside the stadium. Cash and major credit cards are accepted. No outside food or beverages are permitted inside W. E. Anderson Stadium.
DRONE USAGE
Drone use, unless approved by the Langston University Department of Athletics and Office of Public Relations, is strictly prohibited.
EMERGENCIES
In case of emergency, dial 911. You can contact Langston University Police at (405) 466-3366.
FIRST AID
Persons requiring first aid or emergency help should contact event staff or security personnel.

The following items are prohibited on the football field and track:

- Steel Cleats
- Seeds
- High heel shoes
- Sugared Drinks
- Strollers
- Food
- Bicycles
- Tobacco Products
- Hover Boards
- Alcohol
- Skateboards
- All pets
- Motorized Vehicles
- Roller Blades
- Unsupervised Children
- Skates
- Drones
SERVICE ANIMALS
Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in W. E. Anderson Stadium with the exception of service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the stadium but not on the field, and must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other W. E. Anderson Stadium guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.
UMBRELLAS AND TENTS
Umbrellas and tents are not permitted within the stadium.
WEAPONS
Weapons are prohibited unless allowed by law. No open carry of firearms is permitted on campus.
