At A Glance: LU's Land-Grant Mission
Since 1897, Langston University has proudly cultivated future leaders and engaged citizens who meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving world. As an integral component of its mission, the Sherman Lewis School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences embodies the Historically Black Land-Grant institution.
Through excellence in academics, innovative research, and supportive, forward-looking extension and outreach programs, Langston University positively impacts the quality of life of citizens in their home state of Oklahoma, the nation and beyond.
