Langston University will host an inaugural Founders Week Celebration in Tulsa on March 14, offering LU community members an opportunity to commemorate the 129th anniversary of the university’s founding and support the urban campuses.
The Founders Week Celebration program includes a formal dinner, awards presentation and live music. A special presentation to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling program is scheduled. The program spurred the creation of the bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Studies program, the Department of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies, and two federally funded Rehabilitation Research Training Centers.
The funds raised support Langston University’s urban campuses in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Tickets, tables and sponsorships are all available for purchase online at https://bit.ly/LUFoundersWeek.
