Welcome to the Langston University (LU) Department of Music! Our Music department trains and prepares students to become performers, great teachers, and educators at every level. Our music educators, conductors, and applied faculty are among the finest in the nation. The LU Department of Music offers tremendous opportunities for musical growth to both music and non-music majors. In the Department of Music, you will find reputable degree programs. Our music educators, conductors, and applied faculty are among the finest in the nation. Many of our students have gone on to become performers, great teachers, and educators at every level.
