Langston University

Volunteers are integral to the 126th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. To assist with the activities on the day of commencement, Dear Langston needs volunteers to support this monumental occasion.

Volunteers can assist with the following:

• Greeting guests when they arrive on campus
• Directing graduates and answering questions
• Distributing programs
• Ushering guests to seats
• Assisting with shuttle services

Expectations:

• Volunteers will meet prior to the commencement date. Specific instructions and assignments will be given during those meetings.
• In addition, we ask that the volunteers be present for the rehearsal scheduled at W.E. Anderson Stadium on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:15 a.m.
• On commencement day, all volunteers will be asked to arrive by 7:15 a.m.
