Agribusiness Speaker Session

The Langston University Agribusiness, Analytics and Financial Resource Center (AFRC) in the Sherman Lewis School of Agriculture and Applied Sciences is offering a Wealth Building and Financial Management Speaker Session on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the E.L. Holloway Building, Room 334. Lunch will be provided.
Mr. Sherman Lewis, Chair of the Board of Trustees for Langston University Urban Campuses, is the guest speaker. Dr. Nirodha DeSilva, Assistant Professor of Agribusiness and Applied Economics, Agribusiness Program Leader, and Director of the AFRC, will serve as moderator.
During the event, attendees will learn:
- The foundations of wealth building;
- Smart financial management for students and professionals;
- Investing, debt management and long-term financial security; and
- Real-world agribusiness financial insights
