Bio - Kelly O'Bryan

Ms. Kelly O’Bryan graduated from the University of Arkansas with Master’s Degrees in Sociology, Criminal Justice, and Criminology.  She is attending Walden University pursuing her dual doctoral degree in Criminal Justice and Public Policy which she will complete this summer.
She came to Langston University in Fall 2014 as an instructor in the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities. In the summer of 2016, Mrs. O’Bryan was appointed the chair of the social sciences and humanities department. Recently, she accepted the position of director of university college in the summer of 2023.
In her off time, she works with organizations such as the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice to advocate change in our criminal justice system.
