125th Commencement
Ceremony
Langston University will host its 125th Annual Commencement Ceremony Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the W.E. Anderson Stadium on the Langston Campus. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thank you for choosing to celebrate our graduates with us!
Parking on campus the day of the ceremony will be free. There is handicap parking available in the W.E. Anderson Stadium parking lot.
Accessible seating is available inside the W.E. Anderson Stadium.
Cap and Gown are required to participate in the Commencement Ceremony. Click here for more information about purchasing your Cap and Gown.
Please wear comfortable shoes. Pointed heels may cause unbalanced walking on the field. You are encouraged to wear wedged or flat shoes.
The turf field will likely be 10-15 degrees warmer than the temperature of the ambient air. Temperature highs are expected to be in the 80s, so we encourage you to wear lightweight clothing under gowns due to the elevated temperatures. Water will be available for all participants on the field.
Cap decoration are allowed with approval. You may email your photos of your design to Rachel Belmon, Director of Alumni Affairs, for approval.
Tickets are not required and there are no restrictions on the number of guests allowed to attend the 125th Commencement Ceremony right now; however, should inclement weather arise, the commencement ceremony will be held in the C.F. Gayles Field House and will be split into two events (one at 10:00 a.m., one at 1:00 p.m.). If this should happen, each student will be allowed four (4) guests, and it will become a ticketed event.
