The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Education is a multi-disciplinary program that allows scholars to design programs that best suit their interests and career plans. There are three pathways to a degree in Liberal Education. This allows flexibility in scheduling and subject areas. There is a concentrated core focusing on critical and creative thinking skills. The profession of rehabilitation offers a variety of exciting career options in diverse human settings. The rehabilitation counselor evaluates the types of services and then coordinates services for people with disabilities during the entire rehabilitation process. A major goal for the rehabilitation counselors is to assist persons with a disability by moving them from a position of psychological and economic dependence to independence. The rehabilitation counselor is the primary professional who manages components important in the rehabilitation process to prevent fragmentation and gaps in service.
