"The gala presents an opportunity to bring people together from industries beyond the University community who truly believe in our mission and our students. I love the positivity and the energy the gala creates,” said Langston University President, Dr. Kent J. Smith, Jr.

“This is the University’s largest fundraising event of the year,’’ said Mautra Staley Jones, the University’s Vice President of Institutional Advancement and External Affairs and Executive Director of the Foundation. “We rely on the generosity of corporate and foundation sponsors, and distinguished alumni to continue awarding scholarships to our students. We encourage corporations, alumni and friends of Langston University to participate and attend this special occasion.”
